Customer Fees for New Water & Sewer Customers

  • All accounts require a picture identity in the form of a license or passport, current phone number and a correct physcial address. If you do not have or plan on getting a mailbox located on your property you must obtain a PO box from the US Postal Service. 
  • All person renting must present a copy of their rental agreement. 
  • All fee must be paid at the time of service. 
  • Bills are mailed out the last of each month and due on the 10th of the month unless the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday. Failure to receive a bill is not a defense against late or non-payment. If you do not receive a bill, contact our office for the amoundd due at 270-835-7501. 

Fee Free:

In-person- Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (If paying with cash or check)

Auto Bank Draft- forms are available in the office to sign up!

Outdoor Drop Box- Make sure payment is in an envelope with name and address.

Fees for these methods are: ($2.50 up to $50 plus 2.8% for all above $50)

Flat rate usage is 0 gallons up to 2,000 gallons. 

Receive a 10% discount on your city utility bill if:

  • The bill is in your name
  • You show proof of age
  • You come in and sign the form for the discount

All active accounts are provided with a trash tote for garbage pick-up.

  • Trash must be bagged and placed inside the trash can. 
  • Items on the ground will not be picked up. 
  • If you are in need of a second trash tote contact city hall to make arrangements. ($6 monthly fee applies)

Trash Pickup Schedule

Residential: Wednesday

Business: Tuesday and Friday

Please remember:

  • Please have the bar on the front of the trash tote facing the street to prevent lid damage during the dumping process.
  • Place trash tote as close to the street as possible, away from mailboxes, trees, etc. that would prevent the mechanical arm from grasping the trash tote.
  • If you have more than one trash tote space them apart. 

You do not want to pour grease down your drains!

Not only will it cause you to have drainage issues in your home, but it also damages the City’s sewer system.
